The income tax scale has been essentially reviewed: Today the new Tax Legislation has been discussed once again.

Within the frameworks of the discussion of the Tax Legislation, during today’s Government ad-hoc session, the Deputy Minister of the RA State Revenue Committee by the Government Vakhtang Mirumian has announced that the income tax scale of the new amended version of the Legislation has been essentially reviewed and nearly 550 thousand citizens have been given an opportunity to do savings in this regard.

In particular, according to him, 23 percent income tax rate is stipulated to be applied in case of the salary below 150 thousand AMD, instead of 120 thousand AMD, presented in the draft adopted in the first reading.

The second rate is 28 percent, by which salaries from 150 thousand to 2 million AMD will be taxed, instead of 120 thousand to 1 million AMD presented previously.

And in case of salaries above 2 million AMD the current rate of 36 percent will be applied.
